Refresher!

There comes a time in every woman's life where she looks around her home and at her tired decor that she wishes she just had unlimited funds to do a little update.  Okay, so maybe this happens all the time, I am sure it does-doesn't it? Or is that just me?

When I was just starting out in life as an adult, decorating the house was easy & fun.  Warren Kimble was my favorite artist & at the time, it was all pretty popular & so I had no issues finding anything I wanted either in a catalog or in the local small stores.  These days, I still enjoy my WK paintings, prints & decor-but I want something fresh, something new to go along with it.  I want to step into some different color pallets, like instead of burgundy-maybe red!

Before I clocked into work this morning, I found this little piece of Zulily!  A place I like to look at often, if you have never shopped there-you should check them out.  I have purchased several items from them such as sporting goods for the boys, clothing for Olivia, Jewelry, and some kitchen items as well before my friend Christine started selling Pampered Chef-which reminds me, I need to get with her soon to order some things!

Anyway, let me go back to refreshing the house.  Here are a few things I found this morning that really caught my eye!

I just love these bar stools.  I could get three or four of them under our island!  Oh the dreams I have.

I have been looking at these pillows for years, I just need to make some of my own or purchase these!

And last but not least, I have always wanted these as well to pretty up my mixer.  Just not sure of the color yet-my kitchen walls are a pretty shade of Orange.
Hmmmm.  Maybe chevron is a little to "trendy" and maybe that trend is leaving-but a cool decal would be amazing.

  1. All this stuff looks like YOU! Love it all. We really need to go paint again, too.

    1. You're right. I saw the other week that we now have one of those "come and paint, have some wine" shops in LC, made me think of you and our time doing that. We need to check them out again & see if we can find something we'd both like to paint & get that on the books!
